LOS ANGELES, CA, January 31, 2020, Emerging Los Angeles based singer-songwriter John Stratton released his debut single Body & Soul on Noisy Poet Records today. The new song is on Apple Music and all major streaming platforms.

John Stratton began writing original songs on guitar and developing his skills at just 13 years old.

Tragically at 15, John was hit by a car and sustained significant nerve damage to his hands, possibly preventing him from ever regaining the ability to play guitar. Miraculously, John was born with an extra nerve in his arm and hand that through prayer, rehab, and perseverance allowed him to teach himself to play again.

John went on to study music at Azusa Pacific, where he played hundreds of shows with up and coming bands in Los Angeles. Throughout his career, John has opened for major artists, including Phil Wickham, Israel Houghton, Evan Craft, and others. He has even served as a worship leader and pastor.

“So excited to release this single with Noisy Poet! They have a vision for releasing songs with a purpose to impact lives and release a sound that would truly impact our culture,” Stratton says about his relationship with the record label.

John's songs share his journey through stories of love, hope, happiness, and pain. Body & Soul features his wife Marina, and is the perfect love song for Valentines Day. In it, romance and real-life collide when two kids dive into the deep end together to discover what real love looks like. John sets the background of the story with fresh drums, guitar hooks, and vibes for days.

"John is a rare talent with a great story to tell. We’re thrilled to partner with him to tell his stories to everyone who is willing to listen,” says Noisy Poet founder, Christopher Grant, Sr.

Noisy Poet is the music arm of parent company SEVENHORNS, a multi-faceted media company with branches in publishing, TV/film, tech, and more.

"The mission of Noisy Poet Records is not to reach the pinnacle of today's music landscape, but to transform it," says Grant. The label ear picks talent with a message, and diverges from traditional label/artist relationships by partnering 50/50.

Body & Soul includes an upcoming music video and will be followed by an EP later this year.

New York, NY -- 01/21/2020 -- New York City native Annamarie Rosanio, a double major in Music Production Engineering and Music Therapy at Berklee College of Music has signed a deal with innovative indie label Noisy Poet Records. Influenced early on by the likes of the late Amy Winehouse and later by alternative singer-songwriters such as Bon Iver and Ed Sheeran, Annamarie blends those influences to introduce a soulful inspired, folky pop sound that’s all her own.

Annamarie has nearly 1 million YouTube views as a featured artist on various projects, including "Show Me," with Raider, an upstart music producer who has done remixes for The Chainsmokers, Two Friends, and others.

“Being part of NP gives me opportunities to work with incredible artists and even better people who have a vision that goes beyond that of traditional labels," says Annamarie.

Noisy Poet is the music arm of parent company SEVENHORNS, a multi-faceted media company with branches in publishing, TV/film, tech, and more.

According to SEVENHORNS founder and CEO, Christopher Grant Sr., the mission of Noisy Poet Records is not to reach the pinnacle of today's music landscape, but to transform it. The label ear picks talent with a message and diverges from traditional label/artist relationships by partnering 50/50.

“I believe a power shift is at hand,” Grant says. “Labels and artists are becoming equals in this new digital economy. We offer a sort of partnership. We connect with our artists, and we’re in it together, sharing profit and loss. This kind of relationship creates a synergy and likemindedness historically unseen in this industry.”

Annamarie's debut single, titled “Ominous,” features Lokel and is set to drop on Friday January 24, 2020 (https://orcd.co/annamarierosanio). The label has high regard for the song, calling it “an instant pop hit.”

To establish itself as a trend-setter, Noisy Poet plans to release projects worldwide by Annamarie Rosanio and other artists through Sony Orchard. The Noisy Poet roster features talent that fits its model and is poised to transform music’s pinnacle. Stay tuned.

New York, NY– Chris Grant Jr. will release his debut EP entitled Departure, Part One on March 24, 2017, via Noisy Poet Records/Sony Orchard. The entertainment industry loves a triple threat, and young actors from Nickelodeon and Disney have crossed the thin line between acting and singing with regularity. Talented artists like Drake, Justin Timberlake, and Ariana Grande have launched hugely successful music careers from roles on the small screen. Actor/singer Chris Grant Jr. is set to follow in their footsteps after starring in Season 4 of Nickelodeon’s hit series The Backyardigans in 2010. The show won two daytime Emmy awards and is considered one of Nickelodeon’s best-ever children’s shows. Now, as a young adult, Chris writes and performs songs with insight beyond his years. On Departure, Part One Chris draws on all of his musical influences to infuse his songs with his own appealing vibe. “The project is sonically different in both the way it was produced and recorded. I wanted something that would make you say that’s not like everything else…but in a good way,” says Chris. “Paranoid,” the featured song on the EP paints a picture of revelation and introspection over wolves in sheep’s clothing infiltrating one’s inner circle. Using smooth vocals to deliver a hint of sarcasm, Chris asks if the treachery is all in his mind. Departure, Part One is the first of three consecutive releases in the Departure series. While he does some singing on the first EP, in Departure, Part Two Chris reveals more of his vocal talent as a crooner with songs that demonstrate the breadth of his skills. The third project will feature a combination of hip-hop/R&B and pop songs. The music industry is saturated with young talent looking to make a mark. With the release of Departure, Part One Chris Grant Jr. departs from the fray. The stage is set for him to take his place among Nickelodeon and Disney actor/singers who have soared on to musical success. Departure Part One Tracklisting
